Stephan Fink has been a practicing criminal defence attorney since he was admitted to the bar in 2009. His experience includes all areas of white collar crime with a special focus on cases related to corruption, offences against property, insolvency and tax offences. Stephan Fink regularly represents individuals and organisations in all criminal matters in courts all over Germany. He also conducts internal investigations and advises on questions of criminal compliance. In 2014 Stephan Fink became a certified specialist lawyer for criminal law (Fachanwalt für Strafrecht).
Stephan Fink was born in Düsseldorf in 1978 and grew up in Moers (Lower Rhine). After receiving his higher education entrance qualification and completing community service undertaken as an alternative to military service in 1998, he studied law at Bielefeld University. While completing his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court in Berlin, he worked for the partnership Freyschmidt Frings Pananis Venn as a legislative assistant. In 2009 Stephan Fink began to practice criminal defence at the partnership Freyschmidt Frings Pananis Venn after completing his second state law examination. Since 2017 Stephan Fink has been working as a Counsel in the law firm.
Stephan Fink is a member of national and local professional associations, including the criminal law working group of the German Bar Association, Wirtschaftsstrafrechtliche Vereinigung (WiSteV) and the Vereinigung Berliner Strafverteidiger. He is voluntary chairman in the Committee on Economic and Ethics of the Verein Berliner Kaufleute und Industrieller (VBKI).
