Stephan Fink Attonrey-at-Law Partner

Stephan has been equity partner at FFPV since 2019. Since 2009 he has been advising and defending individuals nationwide in all areas of white collar criminal law, such as property crimes, criminal tax law, insolvency criminal law and criminal corruption law. His range of activities also includes advising and defending clients in connection with violations of labor market-related or environmental criminal and administrative offenses. He also focuses on providing criminal law advice to corporate groups, medium-sized companies and associations as well as public companies, including internal investigations. Stephan has been a specialist attorney for criminal law since 2014.

Currently, Stephan is mandated, for example, in several of the "Cum-ex" criminal proceedings and advises and defends several companies of international corporations in criminal and administrative offence proceedings for violations of employment protection law and environmental law.

Stephan has been a member of the board of the Berlin Bar Association since 2019. As a member of Section I of the board, he is involved, among other things, with specialist attorney admissions and money laundering prevention.

Biography

Stephan Fink was born in Düsseldorf in 1978 and grew up in Moers (Lower Rhine). After receiving his higher education entrance qualification and completing community service undertaken as an alternative to military service in 1998, he studied law at Bielefeld University. While completing his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court in Berlin, he worked for the partnership Freyschmidt Frings Pananis Venn as a legislative assistant. In 2009 Stephan Fink began to practice criminal defence at the partnership Freyschmidt Frings Pananis Venn after completing his second state law examination. From 2017 to 2019 Stephan Fink had been working as a Counsel in the law firm. Since 2019 he has been a partner in the firm.

Memberships

Stephan Fink is a member of national and local professional associations, including the criminal law working group of the German Bar Association, Wirtschaftsstrafrechtliche Vereinigung (WiSteV) and the Vereinigung Berliner Strafverteidiger.

Since March 2019 Attorney Fink has been a member of the Board of Rechtsanwaltskammer Berlin.

He is voluntary chairman in the Committee on Economic and Ethics of the Verein Berliner Kaufleute und Industrieller (VBKI).
