Sarah Diwell-Prochnow joined Freyschmidt Frings Pananis Venn in 2009. Since her admission to the bar she is exclusively working on the field of criminal law. One focal point of her work is medical criminal law. She was granted certification as a specialist criminal lawyer (Fachanwältin für Strafrecht) in 2012.
Biography
Born in 1982, Sarah Diwell-Prochnow grew up in Berlin, where she started to study law at the Freie Universität in 2002.
After completing her degree in 2007, she did her legal traineeship in Potsdam, finishing it in 2009. In order to gain further qualifications for the legal profession, during her legal traineeship she completed the German Bar Association training, a supplementary training programme that the Association offers in cooperation with the Fernuniversität Hagen.
Since passing her second state law examination and joining the bar in 2009, Diwell-Prochnow has worked at Freyschmidt Frings Pananis Venn in all areas of white collar crime
Memberships
Sarah Diwell-Prochnow is a member of the criminal law committee of the Deutscher Anwaltverein and the Berliner Strafverteidigervereinigung e.V.
She was appointed by the Deutsche Anwaltsverein to the DAV Electronic Legal Transactions Committee for the term of office until 31 December 2022. Through its committees, the DAV comments on draft national laws and draft directives of the European Union and thus contributes to parliamentary decision-making in Germany and Europe.
